I have heard high-level website agencies say that website design agency is 80% sales and 20% web design.

Truly, any business is about 70% to 80% sales. If you don’t know how to get clients, go and learn how to do so, or at least, partner with someone who knows. Trying to do business without adequate sales skills is frustratingly and painfully fruitless! It’s a waste of time!

The reason why I am very passionate about sales and marketing is because I discovered from study, observation and experience that it is the BULK of any business! I don’t care what business you are in, if sales isn’t a part of it or if it isn’t being done properly, you will soon go broke! It doesn’t matter what your skills are, and it doesn’t matter how good they are, if you can’t constantly and consistently get enough clients, you are going broke soon! It doesn’t matter how powerful your product is, if you can’t consistently find enough customers, your business doors will soon be forever shut.
